i was out braking rally prepped cars at combe with std discs and pads, with a passenger (big fat rugger laddy too ;)).
they aint that bad, just make sure the lines are clear.
chris beat me to it.........higher flow injectors and higher boost will requite totally diff maps, plus boost characteistics will be totally diff, changing ignition and fueling.
the solid discs wont work, you need the vented ones.
and a plain disc is fine, all you need.....all i run.
grooves will wear away those expensive pads in double quick time.
most of the cup racers there had a posh family affair........all in teh paddock, on foling arm chairs, tea, pimms and finger sandwhiches...........looking down their noses at you............only for you to mention that their driving was sh*t.

comparisons between cylinders, leak down test, ring test.........they will or should know what to do.
