Hi Alesi,
My car is circa 62k miles now and I've had it since new (Dec '04). I do a mixture of motorway driving put also the occasional blast on a decent A-road. It has never been on track.
It has the OEM Cup suspension on it and approx 6 months ago, one of the rear dampers lost it's oil. I...
I'm with Andy on this one. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. They have no comprehension of the knock-on effects of their actions on either their own PC or the network as a whole.
Wallpapers were the first to go for a start. Us IT bods can put whatever we want on ours, but we don't...
Back in the dark days of manually installing Sophos, there were random occasions when we had to disable the Windows Firewall during the procedure. Then once on, we just enabled it again.

Definitely check the memory. If you have more than one stick in there, take one out and try the PC again. See how it runs. Then repeat the process on the other stick.

Cheers for the responses, guys! I know our 1*2s aren't of Le Mans racing calibre, but I didn't want to upset the handling by fitting a narrower tyre.
Looks like I might make a saving then! :)
Thanks again,
D.
Is there any 'real world' difference in the way the car handles? I've seen quite a few offerings of 195 tyres that are a decent enough saving over 205s. However, I'd rather spend the extra money on the wider tyre, if the 195s are a compromise to the dynamics of a 182.
Cheers,
D.
Could be a whole host of reasons, m8. Have you been on v6clio.net and asked on there? Unless there's something obvious like a low pressure on one of the front tyres, I'd have a quick check at the rear.
Anything that puts the rear out of sorts such as a damper that's gone or split spring will...
I have tried, but either I'm just unlucky picking times to go online, or is there a genuine dislike of the zombie mode on COD:WaW? The number of servers running it (that aren't password protected anyway) are so few and far between.
Shame really. As I much prefer the zombie mode to going online...
Was your email the only thing you checked over there? No online banking or anything?
I wouldn't even logon to the internet in places like that, tbh. Dodgy b******s.

It should be fine to run that. It would run at 8x AA, but I'm a speed and response freak. I'd rather have no shadows or lighting effects, if it meant that a game ran a lot more smoothly.
I'm not one of those who cripples their games, just so it looks good. :)
