Welcome matey :)
All i can suggest is get out and try a few.
The ph1 is fun and cheap
The ph2 is 'apparently' slightly slower, but has auto wipers, xenons etc
The cup is more driver oriantated but is poverty spec
The ph1 you would get a minter for £3500
The ph2 and cup would be good, but...
Lol personally i think the CTR is quote floaty, after doing a few hard miles in one i found it grips really well, but is a bit drab to drive. but im a clio owner your a type r owner so we could be at this all day so lets get back on topic , the CTR cant be in the equasion as they are tyo expensive
Now i have read my new service book, the PH2 fuel filter change is listed as 144k as we know, but the PH1 has this written:
fuel filter change every 36k(4)
down at the bottom (4) = inline fuel filter replace every 90k
can anyone please shed some light on this for me? i thought we only...
Doesnt really read that way matey
meh, swings and round abouts lol, some will say the clio's better, some will say saxo, i think they both handle brilliantly and i would have one if i could only fit in the flippin thing lol
i have the yellow ones fitted, and no extra vibration on my ph1, and feels tighter.
i had to use a press to get the old bushes out, well i didnt HAVE to, but i have use of one at work so meh why make a job harder than it needs to be lol
poly bushes can be pushed in by hand
Original quote:
'I know there are better cars out there for more money so the rule is for around £2000 something that offers EVERYTHING the Clio has'
how about if you cant keep on the thread line i asked then dont post. thank you
lol well thats not always correct but i get what you mean fella
Honestly it shouldnt be hitting the limiter at 140 unless you have a really accurate speedo
You have a problem lol ;)
Though iv been driving 10 years and im on car number 37 now....
Im thinking GTi-6 is closest, but out the 3 iv driven the Clio has felt more screwed together
Good point, about on par with the Clio
I work for VW and its a good idea, but it won't handle anywhere near as good as the clio, or brake as well, but is more comfortable. Would be hard pushed to find a nice one though
looks nice mate im sure its something simple, am i right in thinking if the Omex doesn't have X amount of voltage that it wont operate? Could be a fooked battery, and if the power supply is too low the Omex wont work?
