SSD's are going to be a big step forward for computers in general, imo. And hopefully their popularity will mean that prices plummet and capacities increase, quite quickly.
Haven't got one yet, but will be doing (probably at work) in the near future.

Yup - you had to do this on BF2142 - editing the target line was the easiest way to do it. Can you believe that it didn't even support 1280x1024 natively from the options screen? :nono:

I tend not to, but it's rare that I'll pump hour after hour into a game. One aspect of games that is guaranteed to switch me off is where the designers just add several hundred hit points to the same piss-easy foe, in order to make them harder later on.
I enjoyed Final Fantasy XV11111VXMCM -...
Yikes. The feckers at the insurance companies will be adding zeros to whatever insurance he gets, next - if that's the case.
I can see why they do it, but even so. :(

A red one, perchance? That braapped the road outside my parents over in Ashton a few months back. Did sound pretty good as the exhaust note drowned out most of the 'charger whine.
As for the OP - I've seen a silver 182 a few times around Bury and let on to him. I get the facial expression in...
I'd say its the heat-shield - or at least that's the easy one to check. I know I had to bend the shield a bit (twice) when it touched the exhaust. It's no more than thick foil anyway. :)

The car(s) of the day for me, were the Trophy's. To watch them 50 yards or so ahead going through corners was very impressive indeed.
My FF182 handles well enough I think. But the Trophy's showed how it was properly done. Great cars - in their perfect environment. :)

It was one of the items you could pick up from the original Wasteland game of 1988/89.
As Fallout was made by Interplay and represented the 'unofficial' sequel to Wasteland, it seems that Bethesda saw fit to add a few references to the game that started it all, in Fallout 3.
If you want -...
Mine was a bit more drastic. The ESP light never went on/off via the switch.
Reno's solution? Replace the entire instrument cluster. Got it done under warranty with a few days to spare!

Ah, command lines are great. Nothing wrong with a bit of CMD, black screen and away you go.
I've forgotten most of the command prompts I used to us from the DOS days though. :(

Got to agree with Brand there. The hunting rifle at the start was hopeless for me. Maybe that was down to the stats of my character, etc. I never did get the sniper perk.

Forget the cost. Forget the technical side of it. Forget the pros and cons of each.
Just listen to either.
Turbos sound superb.
Superchargers sound s**te. Even the McLaren Merc sounds w**k to me. :dead:

Lol - we've all been there. Counting 10mm pistol rounds in single figures and using highly valuable (initially) grenades in order to fend off those pursuing you.
As the1 says - try going in for the melee attacks for a while. Takes a bit of practice, but you can be really effective early on -...
After years (literally) of messing about with various bits of packing and clamps to get various wheels to stay snuggly on the desk - it was time for the power jigsaw. The tapered edge just had to go.
Now I'm FAR from being Mr. DIY. But I didn't do to bad - for me anyway, lol!
