I've got a Cliosport URL sticker, and would like to put it on the rear drivers side window, had a search but can't find where people put it. Just wondering how far into the corner of the window to put it if anyone's done their's in a similar place?
Yea they are Laquered, if you mean the clear laquer you put on after the basecoat colour? I just want to be careful because it took me a lot of hard work and I don't want to get them ruined lol.
Thanks for your help.
Oh rele!? Thanks I'll have a look around.
Im just a bit cautious because of it being a rattle can job, and even though I did it properly, I just can't help thinking they shouldn't be cleaned like any old alloy, I don't want my paint being eroded!
You can get 2 channel amps off ebay for little money.
I got a phoenix Gold 60w RMS x 2 for £30.
To go with it I got these:

Mine are only 5.25" which is the standard speaker size, but if you can modify the speaker holder to fit 6.5"...
Right one last amateur question. Please don't slate me for this!
Basically is the gap between the rubber and the chassis too big, is the rubber meant to sit touching the black of the chassis?
Someone pleaaaseee :)

Scroll right down on the second page of my thread, I was asking the same questions!
Mine are Vmaxx but they're all similar.
Hope it helps!
Yea Im happy with them on. What I would do is just get a pair of 5mm spacers from halfords, just put them on, if it cures the noise you can then decide on a longer term solution. If they don't cure the noise there's no point splashing out on some expensive ones.
Im just thinking, but Im not sure how well Turini's would suit a non sport ph1? I personally think maybe 15" wheels would suit it better
And anther thing, I think no matter what the alloys are lowering can make such a difference to how it looks :)
Thanks for all your positive comments :)
The lighting in the pics isn't the best, so the wheels do look very dark. It needs a better clean and tyre shine. But I only got it back together yesterday and I just wanted to get some quick pics up to show people what I'd done.
Guysy I have got 5mm...
I've recently resprayed my alloys, and it took me quite a while with all the priming and sanding, so Im just wondering what would be the best thing to a: clean them, and b: protect them?
Im just wondering because obviously with them only being rattle can laquer and paint, Im not sure I should...
Finally I think my car might be worthy of a post in the media section!
Over the past two weeks I've pretty much been working solidly on improving my car,
I've replaced the clutch (thanks to James.f) which was a massive achievement for me and got me back into my car.
I then fitted my Vmaxx...
Yea I've used 5mm on front and back with standard bolts.
No problems, other than them being generic and as such an absolute pain to line up when taking wheels off/on.
Anything above 5mm I think your wise to go Hubcentric.
I think 5mm is okay. I was told anything over 5mm is when you start needing longer bolts.
I had 5mm on with standard nuts, no noticable problems.
Some people might say otherwise though.

I'm no expert but I've looked at these ones before. You can't get hubcentrics smaller than 13mm I think.
With the ones linked...
I'm thinking of doing a rattle can job on my alloys.
My car is black, and I'd like to do them an anthracite, but darker than the standard 182 alloys, more of a Gun metal grey kind of thing.
Does anyone have any recommendations of a colour that I can pick up in Halfords?
So like the...
Yea 5mm is okay on standard bolts I think.
Although the ones you linked are generic, and the centre bore will be different, and as such they are an absolute pain to keep them in the right place and line them, and the wheel holes up, when you put the wheels on.
re. outside showing on the wrong...
Yea I've been researching a bit and that is the opinion I've been seeing.
I'm still a bit wary of getting any spacers at all having read all the threads on here, I think I may just sell my 182 alloys instead.
I'm looking to get some hubcentric spacers, as after fitting my coilovers, my 182 alloys need pushing out as they rub on the adjuster ring of the coilovers.
I was just wondering where the best place to order some reasonably priced good quality spacers?
Ideally I'd like to get them pretty...
I thought the AR bit meant they were retro fit aero blades, which are the ones designed to fit hooked wiper arms which is what all phase 2 clios have iirc, not sure more modern Clios.
If they only have A before the number they're just aero fit, which will only the more modern flat wiper arms?
