Re: halfords this week
its 3 for 2 on winter chemicals over the winter then its 3 for 2 on car cleaning for the summer period I think, although this hasn't actually started yet.
yea I know I was getting quotes like that when I just passed.
You should try admiral, and adding your parents as named drivers brings it down and they can used your car if they need as well
I remember looking at mine a while ago, and it looked like one side was just clipped on with plastic clips type thigs, but on the other side of the badge on the grille there's no clips and it looks like that side the grille plastic is actually joined to the bumper bit beneath it
Just thought...
Yea I have tried a load now thanks
I didn't really mean specific I meant ones that are more favourable to young drivers than other companies that was all lol
Yea thanks lol, I just wondered if there were any that were specific for young drivers.
Admiral is cheapest at the moment.
Even though its around 1400 but thats miles better than some im getting
Im 18 and nearly been driving a year and so its renewal time and I want to get my own policy and just thought I'd see if anyone has any recommendations specifically for young/new drivers?
Thanks
Yea I had this problem but works now.
Try unranked ones and ones without Punkbuster
Found I could get on them, then tried normal ranked one later and found it was working
On PC when you install you can select online verification, so you don't have to have the disc in and you can install it on up to 10 computers!
Does that mean if you have more than one PC you can install it on both and play together on seperate accounts do you think?
Pretty cool if so...
if you pay to become a member on here you'll get access to the for sale section, and mk2 ph2 rear lights quite often come up, much cheaper than that ebay link as well
From what I can see in your photo your blades look like the flat ended arm ones, and the tesco ones shown are for hook ended arms if Im right, so you need the blades specificially for flat ended arms, like the one you took off.
Yea just buy a wiring harness.
Get them from Halfords or something and just cut the wires on that so you when you want to go back to normal just throw away the harness and plug it back in like normal.
Also then if it don't work you've not lost out apart from £15 if it goes wrong or you don't...
Do you mean as in crimp the speaker wires at the back of the headunit and wire them to the amp, rather than laying all new wires through the doors and to the tweeters from the amp?
Yea pretty easy. on a my Mk2 Ph2 anyway.
If i remember right the dipped headlight bulbs just take the rubber cover off, twist then the whole connector comes out and you can pull the bulb out then, put new one in and twist the holder back in.
I think the main beams you take the rubber cover...
Same with my 1.2 I've got the ida x100.
Original unit out, Metal Cage put in. Headunit slid into place, wires connected, Plastic Surround clipped on. Done
Only thing you might need I can't remember is a wiring harness adaptor, not sure though.
There's these on ebay...

£299
Although don't know if they're any good just popped up on a search.
Could...
The Isofix bar isn't attached to the rear seats if I remember rightly. Well on my 1.2 anyway
Just unscrew the two bolts and it comes out on its own, doesn't affect the rear seat they're held in with a different bolt.
with using a paintbrush,
do you just spray the whole thing including the letters with the base colour, like for example anthracite, then just paint brush the lettering colour over that, so like paint the black over the top of the anthracite on the letters then spray laquer the hole thing?
Just wondering actually how much would the parts in the photo roughly be from renault?
Its just I need them quite quickly as tax is due soon and I don't have MOT?
Ah that would be great Thankyou!
Another thing I jsut can't work out how water is getting into it. Its also getting into the car as well, I haven't used the car for a few weeks because it failed its MOT over this, and I looked today and found my spare wheel well had about 3cm of water in it...
Somehow water has got into the connector for the driver side rear light cluster, and as a result the pins on have all rusted up, meaning the lights flash randomly and don't work properly. They had actually rusted together and had to be forced apart.
I was just wondering if Renault do the spare...
