New coolant expansion bottle arrived today. Renault wanted over £40 for this and I got this for £10 off eBay. Compared it to the original and there is no difference except a couple of markings and I'll get to see that lovely coolant colour through it :) Also got my restrictor back today...

Lol I did the same expecting it to come apart! I just used a big wire brush, and then sprayed the only bits that are on show so not much went on the coil! Bit of a bodge but done the job!

Little update. Engine is back with new Cambelt and a keywayed sprocket fitted. Also had some ARP rod bolts fitted all courtesy of Tour De Force! So I got all the Cambelt covers refitted tonight and cleaned up my Cup alternator with a lick of paint. Should hopefully get the flywheel, clutch...

Don't drill or weld it! Should easily come off with some mole grips, I've done it before

You say you've done modifications that don't effect insurance, have you notified them of the modifications though? I can't see your insurance staying the same with modifications. Just a warning really in case you crash, insurance are getting hot on it these days, as are forum members on here ;)

As said above, a restrictor pipe in the pipe work for a Rotrex style or a plate for the twin screw.
