I'd seriously be having another think about paying that kind of money, m8. I know it's easy for me to sit here, 15 years older than you and preach what you should do - but honestly, give it some more thought.
Any 1*2 is a quick car and it needs respect. And what 18 year old out there...
Great.... :dapprove:
Heard a knocking noise coming from the inside rear for the past few days. Only when driving over grids, dips in the road and stuff. Sure enough, it looks like the shock has gone.
Still, 50k+ mileage isn't too bad I suppose. Time to get two new 'uns for the rear...
Mine stopped working a few weeks before the warranty ran out. Reno fixed it, so unfortunately I'm not sure of the costs/bits involved.
I think I'm right in saying that a non-working horn is an MOT failure as well. So if that's due soon, you may have to sort the horn out regardless?
Hopefully...
Any real benefits of the Striker II with the 790i Ultra chipset over the Maximus?
I know it's well out of David's price range, but it does look quite smart. ;)

I wouldn't worry about that m8. They are just picking up your IP address and ISP and putting 2 and 2 together.
Personally, the sad b******s who make pop-up s**t software should be shot. No court appearance, no trial - just BAM! for wasting everyone else's time.
Absolute scum.

Lol - you'd be fine. You'd be armed with your trusty crowbar. ;)
D.
I was ordered to give the CTR the full beans when I test drove one.
As for my 182, the first time I'd sat in one was the day I went to pick it up - lol!

You're right. They are not that upgradable at all. Memory is easy (and cheap) to upgrade, but things like graphics are pretty much a no-no in upgrading.
There used to be some proper high-end laptops with decent graphics setups onbaord, which no doubt would be good for your Photoshop/AutoCAD...
Does look good and sounds even better from your feedback, Lee.
Reno clearly have a three-pronged view of the RS's with the Twingo, Clio and Megane. Good to hear that Reno is obviously pumping money and effort into keeping the RS brand out there.

We bought this one last week m8 for work and it seems a good piece of kit. Not sure on the silver fascia, but the screen is very, very good.

Comes with Vista Business installed on it, but there's an XP CD in the box with all the Toshiba's drivers...
Re: Cerns Large Hadrom Collider - Biggest Physics Experiment EVER. Discussion Here!
Depends. Some will go to almost any lengths to prove a point. When the Yanks were refining the plutonium for the atomic bomb in WW2 - they were happily working next to the Columbia River which was having...
Great. Another easily accessible part. :dapprove: Still, I guess there's not a lot of space to cram a 2litre lump in there. Is it easy to change?
Will do! Anyone got a spare knock sensor to hand? :)
No worries Tony. Thanks for looking anyway.
Karl, it sounds like a rapid metallic...
I had a thought that it could be something else. I don't actually hear the pink noise with the windows up, but if say I drive past a wall or a row of parked cars with the window down, I can definitely hear it. Like I said - the instant I even dabble the accelerator, it stops.
Is the knock...
Changed the plugs today and have given it £60 in V-Power this last week. Doesn't seem to have made any difference to the pinking noise. It's really noticable at 2k rpm in 3rd gear. Press the throttle just slightly and it stops pinking straight away.
Could it be the timing? Would Reno...
It's weird, ain't it? I would have been concerned if I pull all four plugs out at together, but one-at-once meant that they had to be numbered wrong. Bloody Frenchies. ;)
D.
Changed the spark plugs today on the 182. Did it the safe way (i.e. one at once) and worked from right to left.
With the inlet housing off, the first plug had '4' written on the rubber. Next onto '3' and yet the next said '1'? :S
Sure enough, the last plug to be changed said '2'. Is this a...
That's probably just increased your status on here by a 1000%! You don't happen to make them as well, do you? Couple of bits of sticky-back plastic and a few ice cream tubs? There will be a market on here for them - I tell thee!
Oh, and welcome, btw!
D.
Seems like there are a LOT of irate people out there with the same issue.
Fecking stupid that Cisco hasn't properly addressed 64-bit support yet. :S
D.
Have you tried it anyway, m8?
I've read that 'Cisco Any Connect' works fine on Vista 64, so I assume it would be ok on XP64? What difference that has between it and the standard VPN client, I'm not sure.
D.
Don't forget, if you really don't like the look and feel of the Mac OS, just fire up Windows XP in dual boot. You'll probably get to run a few decent games that way too. :)

Barron - thought you'd like the comment at the bottom of this review, too.... :)
