should of been long enough? did he pull the damper right back before he set the cable in the nipple on the throttle cam? got a feeling it's been set up wrong.
The non Renault ones I've had have all had longer inner cables than standard, think first line might not be, I'd be doubting the rac guy more than anything. How much inner was sticking though when you chucked it in the old outer?
imobiliser isn't clearing. unlock car, ignition on but don't try and start the car, leave it on for thirty seconds to a minute, ignition off, lock car, unlock, ignition on and see if it clears.
will have t see if i can get chris to do me an overlay with all the ones he's mapped on it. still nice flat torque though, always makes them nice to drive.
imobiliser won't stop the car from cranking. does it crank on the key?
no door lock won't stop it locking from the fob, only needs the uch to see it's been locked.
if battery is good and the earth on the back of the gearbox to the loom is ok lock the car with the fob, unlock it, ignition on but don't try and start the car, leave it on for thrity seconds to a minute, turn it off, lock the car with the fob, unlock again, switch ignition back on and after...
