pagid used to fit but god knows what they put in the bag now but they don't fit that's for sure. for the ktec exhaust get a centre box chucked on it, got one on the wife's was horrible, chucked a centre box on and it's great now.

stock inlet will suffer a hell of a lot more heat soak than the sm and throttle response will be slower amongst other things.

follow the loom down the back of the engine/gearbox. you'll see it on the top of the diff housing, M8/13mm bolt holding it on.

i've never heard of a rod just bend, look at it logically, it couldn't.

loom earth can be funny, worth checking anyway, even if it's tight give the wire a good wiggle and make sure it doesn't start to fray.

make sure the terminals on the battery won't turn, then check loom earth on the rear of the gearbox, sounds like that more than anything. car will start and run without it connected.

5k is nothing to do with timing, check lambda live data and take it from there.

something dodgy, rod won't just bend. time to kick up a fuss.
