fair play mate it looks stunning :)
if you cant get the exhaust done right away get under and see if you can 'adjust' the brackets so it sits a bit higher lol
i would write date of sale, name of you and him, that he is buying the car sold as seen, and all the stuff you have said, but make sure you write two and get him to sign both copies and keep one
oh right, unusual matey, well they are made by mongoose,so go onto there websit i would imagine its www.blueflame.co.uk and give them an e mail and find out what system you have,do they make mild steel ones? maybe someones fitted a stainless box on a mild steel middle section?
if its the same as a 172 mate then jack up o/s/f,take wheel arch liner off, unhook cable from pedal, unhook from t/b,there will be 2 hooks holding it in place, take it out of these then pull it out
best thing is to ring nick and speak to him about whats best for you mate,as he sells a few different ones,i will stake my namestake on his work mate, you wont be disapointed!
the engine was rebilut to std spec by the hands of nick hill ( www.hillpower.co.uk ) and had a hill power induction kit, supersprint exhaust manifold (this was meant for a 1.8 16v) de cat, ashley exhaust system, lightened flywheel and a stage 1 hill power re map,the box was great, but after approx...
id say hill power mate, nick hill built that engine and mapped both my 1.8 16v and my hybrid, and with swapping ecu'sd bk and forth with my mates std willy ecu (both had same mods) made such a difference so most def hill power, www.hillpower.co.uk tell him russell sent ya lol
not bad mate lol, mine was also bridge to gantry
on our 1st lap,my mate came up the left, understeered, saw he wasnt going to make it,straightened up and got a good foot of air too! lol
box was a 16v box mate and it was 151 bhp @ the wheels iirc, did 0-60 in 5.72 and quarter in 14.1@99mph, and hit the limiter in 5th from a standing start (approx 144mph) in 29 secs. was a beast
same as my old one matey, filter, exhaust and re map and i ran 2 14.1s@ 99 mph in 30 degree heat, god i wish i had waited till it was cooler (ie a few months later instead of selling her lol)
i had a std renault in my old hybrid, that had 15k of santa pod and road driving, then martin got hold of it lol,and from what i hear its still on that clutch now,so std ones cant be too bad?
the std williams limits @ 6400 mate, with a re map you will hit 6900 usually, but i wouldnt suggest going any higher. my 1st valver revved to 7700 with a hill power re map lol
my old hybrid was still making power @ 6800,so its worth the higher limit, imo of course
