okies gone to pick my lil bro up from school get half way there and the accelerator pedal cable snapped had to push it like half a mile through school traffic and no1 offered to help me (bloddy f*****s) anyways how hard are these to fix and how much do they cost any quick fix i can do to fix it my clio is a phase 1 mk2

I'd try speaking to Renault about it mate. You may have a recall for the throttle cable. They took care of mine a couple of months ago.
Give them a ring, tell them your reg number and ask if there's any recalls for your car.

if its the same as a 172 mate then jack up o/s/f,take wheel arch liner off,unhook cable from pedal,unhook from t/b,there will be 2 hooks holding it in place,take it out of these then pull it out
