prob the p/steering pump getting old mate,do what i did with my valver and my willy hybrid,change the fluid and put in some forte p/steering conditioner and it improves it no end

if its in a safe location then dont worry mate,mines just been sat for 6 weeks and hasnt turned a wheel,drove it 1st timw again and fired up at the 1st turn of the key and is fine,if itwas a bigger time left then there are things you can do but for a few weeks i wouldnt worry

mine revs to 7200 in the 1st 4 gears? never tried it in 5th lol

iv just replaced the track rods on my ph1 mate due to the same problem,rods and rod ends came to about 120 quid,feels great now :)
