to be fair a turbo 2000 will be a uk engine,and they will last forever,my old scoob i had till it was on 111k and ran like new,its the imports that dont last long still wouldnt swap tho

thats your problem i think. short trips can cause moisture build up giving you head gasket symptoms,my gf's corsa does this,its been oing it for 2 years,never used a drop of oil,i just change the oil more regularly and clean out the breathers

i got this for free,still taxed and tested,a mk3 golf gti 2.0 16v,just wouldnt start sounded like the starter wasnt engaging,till i noticed the alternator spinning..............no compression,so off with the filler cap,no cam movement,took the belt cover off and its stripped all the teeth...
