I do hate my closed platform. Not being able to download anti-virus apps, no performance apps to try and make the thing run as it should, having one big app store where everything is, regular updates for everyone, no carriers adding bits on. Closed platform really sucks.

If that backup file is corrupt, there's nothing you can do other than try a previous one.

You get the yellow warning triangle and the phone won't do anything if it think it's too hot. It'll just be a thermostat issue. Make sure you back it up before you go and they'll replace it.
