TBH mate, it couldn't be any simpler. Set Plex to boot on start up and that's it. Then it's just the Apple remote. That has 3 buttons so even women can use it! Lol.

Plex hasn't needed anything else since I've used it. Depends what format your files are in, but it will handle most things by itself.

Photobucket has changed recently, like the last week. You don't have to copy the text anymore and you don't select it, you just click and it copies it to your clipboard.

No idea on spec, but you don't need Perian. Plex does everything.

Once you're in the iTunes store, there's the bar at the top. Which says Music - Tv - Films - App Store - Podcasts etc etc If you hover over App Store, a little arrow appears just to the right of it, click that and a drop down box appears with the categories listed.

A broken Ph1 that you've taken the air con out of, is worth very very little. 600ish I'd say, considering you can get working ones for a grand. You've fixed some big things, best off keeping it.

When my original iPhone broke, I called some sexy leprechaun and she guided me through a load of things, that didn't work, so they collected it and replaced it. I had a new one with 3 days. Surely they can do that for you? Get a courier. Be far easier than driving all that way every time.
