    either h&r bolt to hub or stud conversion and just about any half decent quality normal ones.

    why did bottom end go in the first place? did you just replace shells or have crank checked/ground? doesn't matter what way they are.

    quality of work can be a bit iffy it has to be said but as long as it's done right and mapped well then no reason why it wouldn't be as reliable as an na car.

    i've fitted plenty of pagid ones but had one where the outer was to short from what i remember? was only by about 5mm, rest have been ok.

    does sound more like bottom end from the video, can you get a video from under the bonnet while someone revs the engine a couple of times?

    i use these...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321837957082?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT never had a problem, set on the wife's car has done at least 50,000 miles and still ok.

    Checking level won't tell you anything. Chances are will need end case taking off and quick look at 5th.

    Possibly been low on oil, 5th is the first thing to suffer. Might get away with just popping the end case off. Selector also has plastic sleeves on, seen them melt away and the fork start to eat itself.
