quality of work can be a bit iffy it has to be said but as long as it's done right and mapped well then no reason why it wouldn't be as reliable as an na car.

never had a problem, set on the wife's car has done at least 50,000 miles and still ok.
Possibly been low on oil, 5th is the first thing to suffer. Might get away with just popping the end case off.
Selector also has plastic sleeves on, seen them melt away and the fork start to eat itself.
