PMSL - what a superb move! That Astra must have been on a 40 degree slope. I was going to take a picture but thought his car might roll over onto us if we waited too long!
No one has mentioned Mr. Escort Cab either........vvvvrrrrooooooOOOOMMM!!! I bet he gave it the big up to his mates at...
Good vid there Martin!
Looks like I'm randomly looking at Vee tyres on there! (.....we did think that Jain had a flat at one point - that's my excuse anyway. ;) )
D.
We stayed at a place called Fell House. It was on two floors and superb for the 13 of us! :)
Mossy - superb pics there m8! I love the last one of your own car! :approve:

Rounded up a fair few of the local Vee owners - and two not so local ones (Steve & Shaun! :)) for a few night's stay in Sedbergh. We were crammed into various nooks and crannies - almost like our own Vauxhall advert with the hiding Corsas.... ;)
Before everyone else had...
'03 172 Cup in the lay-by near Tescos....
Tubby red 197, leaving the petrol station where Subway is. We've just got our Quad F (foot-long, fat-ba5tard, Friday) sub now.... ;)

...... I think the reg started 'L5'. It was foggy though and I only spotted you at the last minute.
Would have been 8.10am (ish) this morning. Anyone?

Must admit m8, it's the first time I've seen a Fun Cup race in action too. It's a good balance between total racing rookies and some decent track veterans - like ex-BTCC driver Eugene O'Brien (sp?).
The other good thing is that with the relative inexpense of the cars - they aren't afraid to...
Had an extra interest in this as we have a works sponsored car in it - driven by our MD and another director...
Sealed VAG units - the same for all cars. 150bhp 1.8 20v engines, iirc...
The team in the next bay had a bad idling problem - sounding really lumpy and then...
Re: At RS Tuning Today
Hehehe! Yep, it was mine!
Back in for it's aux. belt to be done (had it's 36k service a week or so ago)
Was yours the 172 having it's cambelt done? When I dropped mine off just after 2pm, there was an iceberg 172 with the front bumper off, bonnet up and a poor bloody...
Just read all 10 pages of this - I really hope you get this sorted out, Phil... :(
If it is the OMEX unit, are you then going to get it relocated to the inside of the car?
D.
Not being funny m8 - look at your location. I'd like to see you get £1,075 if you lived near Manchester, Birmingham, London, etc. ;)
As both Brad and I have said - postcode plays a massive part in the premium...
On a slightly different note, I did manage to get a £1,200 quote from RAC...
LOL - it's all they can aspire too. Bless 'em. ;)
Perceived image first............. fecking everything else next. I bet most of them would still have a five-knuckle shuffle over a picture of a TT.

Re: What the f**k has A18XHO done to my car?!?!?!?!?
In all seriousness m8, I'd be more worried about your own point above, than anything that stone chips could do.
And your car isn't black. Try owning a black car and then wax it. One or two stone chips suddenly become dozens! ;)
D.
Bingo - that proves my postcode point exactly. :)
The 172 will be older than my 182 and not worth as much - but not by a massive margin. Yet Brad's premium is still cheaper than mine....
D.
Totally reasonable, I think - especially for the fully comp price. It does go down over time, but don't get your hopes up too much - unless you live in Shetland or the Isle of Wight. Your postcode will be a big factor.
As a comparison - I'm 32, clean licence since I passed at 17 and with over...
I wouldn't worry about it, Ste. I've been to various Tescos recently and they all appear to sell the 99RON stuff. You'll probably need to just travel a bit further out!
D.
I don't know what it is - but it's good! :approve:
In the past few weeks, it's had its 36k service. Been fed nothing but Tesco's 99RON juice (about five tankfuls) and the weather has noticably gone cooler.
Maybe a combination of all three have added to the 182's low-down grunt, recently? I was...
