Muchos respect if got the 182 for driving - and not using it as a shopping trolley! My dad lost his interest in cars years ago. At 59, his current Berlingo 'does it' for him. Maybe he'll surprise me and rush out to buy a 197 on his 60th? Then again..... ;) D.

Good point. CarSelect were nearly falling over themselves to sell the 182 to me, back in November '04. What with Christmas approaching and stuff, a car up for sale really does have to be special to spark someone's interest at this time of year. D.

Cheers Mossy! A bit better than when you saw it on Friday night, eh? :) I didn't tape the letters up specifically, m8. They got painted too. All I did was let the paint properly dry (the warmth of the engine helped!) and then got a small block of wood with some fine sandpaper wrapped around...

Stage 2 of the painting fellas...... it needed doing! :) Looks more 'finished' now, imo.... D.

Cheers Mikey :D It was the masking up that took the longest. I went totally OTT with it - covering up the headlights, battery unit, front bumper, wings and anything else that could have received a bit of overspray! Worth it for peace of mind though... D.

Thought I'd get around to a little bit of painting in the engine bay, today...... Not the first to do it, by any means, but it looks a bit better than dull the silver(ish) colour showing through the plastic cover. I used that Halfords Very High Temp. spray paint (rated to 500C, iirc)...
