LOL - I'll sure be giving this a go!
Tbh, I've never used the speed limiter in the three years I've had the car. Sometimes the cruise control - like on the trip down to RenTech and never the climate control. Car toys do nothing for me...
Going off the responses here, I'm struggling to...
Great job on that - especially if its your first attempt with a PC!
Saxo itself looks good too - nice and subtle with a good colour combo of the paint and alloys. Looking good!
D.
I know exactly what you mean! Only seems to be noticable if you're giving the car some beans?
Hopefully someone has an answer. My m8 Steve almost has an obsession to find out what's causing it? ;)
D.
Muchos respect if got the 182 for driving - and not using it as a shopping trolley!
My dad lost his interest in cars years ago. At 59, his current Berlingo 'does it' for him. Maybe he'll surprise me and rush out to buy a 197 on his 60th?
Then again..... ;)

I think it should be made an Act of Parliament:-
Scroats who are caught keying cars are forced to pay the going-rate at the manufacturers' RRP pricing - to have the respray done. Doubled.
Also, ten kicks to the b****cks are compulsory. If the car owner is male - steel toe-capped boots should...
.... go on lad - hope you got a proper one out of there! ;)
On the M66 this morning - heading Bury way. I briefly saw it yesterday, but today the traffic meant you were going slower. Plenty of time to put the picking finger to some good use!

Good point. CarSelect were nearly falling over themselves to sell the 182 to me, back in November '04.
What with Christmas approaching and stuff, a car up for sale really does have to be special to spark someone's interest at this time of year.
D.
Arsewipes. :(
Had the same done to me on my previous car, so I know how you feel. :(
As others have said - don't bother with going through your insurance - they will just dry-bum you next year with the premium.
Hope you manage to get it sorted cheaply....
D.
I think you've hit the nail on the head there Giles - your car is just too good!
When I had a chat to you and had a walk around it at the RWS, it outshone the looks of much newer cars there - and most certainly including my own 182.
In essence, it looks too good to be true. I'm not saying...
Every three months?! WTF?! :S
That would drive me absolutely, 110%, goddamn insane! Seriously!
If you got a so-so car, then maybe fair enough. But what happens when you get a car you really like? Three months is nowhere near enough to begin exploring what the car can do and make that smile...
Quite why you would want in the first place, when you would have lovely XP? ;)

Vista seems great for me...... until you add SLi into the equation. Then it sucks the camel's length. For that reason alone, I...
Looks superb!
Thinking about it, I doubt I'd go for the 400 - even if I had the money. But then I'd probably change my mind if the keys were in my mitts! ;)
Love that Clarkson quote about choosing the 320 and not going for the 340 instead. "Like going to bed with Uma Thurman..... and then...
I still have flashbacks to this day of The Clay Incident. I'm down to just 20 tablets a day for my nerves, now. ;)
I would m8 - but there's no point. Ten yards on our lane get's the tyres full of crap again! :(
D.
Barry Scott would be SO pleased with the results - not that I used Cillit Bang on my car, mind!
It must have been a certain tree I'd parked under. The rest of the car had a few specs which came off with washing - but the bonnet and front wings had a proper coating of the sticky stuff.
After...
Glad to see that the RUG didn't suffer any more battle-damage on track, Chris! Looked good out on the track. :approve:
Did you hear that red Pug 306 Rallye on full chat? Sounded awesome that. Caught my atttention when I was standing at Cascades...
D.
It was Mossy - is that 2Live's car?
Sounded unbelievable with the popping - especially when we saw it from Cascades and also Deer Leap. Love to know what work's been done on that!
D.
Cheers Mossy! A bit better than when you saw it on Friday night, eh? :)
I didn't tape the letters up specifically, m8. They got painted too. All I did was let the paint properly dry (the warmth of the engine helped!) and then got a small block of wood with some fine sandpaper wrapped around...
Bugger - that had crossed my mind, tbh. It does actually look quite good with the cover off too, so it may come off anyway.
Cheers for the warning! :)
D.
Cheers Mikey :D
It was the masking up that took the longest. I went totally OTT with it - covering up the headlights, battery unit, front bumper, wings and anything else that could have received a bit of overspray!
Worth it for peace of mind though...
D.
Thought I'd get around to a little bit of painting in the engine bay, today......
Not the first to do it, by any means, but it looks a bit better than dull the silver(ish) colour showing through the plastic cover.
I used that Halfords Very High Temp. spray paint (rated to 500C, iirc)...
HP is the way to go - been using their JetDirect parallel versions for donkey's years at work. Brilliant bits of kit, but you pay for them!
