Moonlight is a great colour that I've seen in the pics. I'd do anything to have that on the 182!
I took the following pic of James's deep bronze V6 at FCS. You can't see much difference between it and Shaun's black gold at the side of it - but in the sunlight, there is a stark difference...
That Auzen card looks good, Mike. You'll have to let us know what it's like when it arrives!
Can only be good news, imo - if Creative are licensing-out their technology for other vendors to build and improve upon. Hopefully that will encourage developers to pump more resources into fully...
No worries Dave!
Found this one. Takes up two slots in the chassis, but looks to have all the connectors you need?
Seems cheap too - if its a piece of crap?

Dave, isn't it just the non-PCI-E version you want, then?

Cracking cards - I've had the X-Fi Fatal1ty card for nearly two years. Brilliant piece of kit.
Edit - doh! Missed the optical bit. Sorry. :(

Err, not sure. I'm sure it was an X-plater. Could be wrong though.
Just puzzled me as the car was mint. Surely if you drive a minter, you're clued-up to what it is/what its about?
Ah well. :coffee:

Imo, you've made your decision right there, Deb!
For me personally, I'd go for the R26. But that's mainly driven by the fact that I'm craving for a turbo again. I absolutely love the look of them in white. And even though I've never driven an R26, I would stick my neck out here and say that...
..... of course. That's why Crossfire cards took all the top 5 spots in Griff's 3DMark link then. ;)
What I'm saying is that they are far from crap. Put a typical gamer in front of two identical looking PCs (one AMD, one Intel) and they would unlikely to be able to tell the difference when...
It's only because the AMD'ers haven't posted as much.... ;)
In all seriousness though, there are some puzzling results in there - just glancing over the specs. I lost faith in 3DMark quite a while ago, tbh....

Aye, 'tis a good one. We recently got a dual-CPU, Xeon Quad-Core server as another Citrix box. And that thing bloody flies!
Mind you, I think we're going a tad off bill's original question of a recommendation for a laptop here - lol!

Quite a big step up from my 4800+, H.
I reinstalled MoH:A again the other night and the increased smoothness was very noticable. MoH:A uses between 90% and 100% on both cores - and not a lot of games do that. However, I upped the clocks to 3.52Ghz per core (+10%) and it became a little...
AMD are cheap as chips and powerful. I currently run an AMD X2 Black Edition 6400+ which is more than capable for anything out there at the moment.
Intel have the better chips at the moment and cost slightly more. More robust and arguably more 'stable' than AMDs. Quad-cores (from both...
Saw you come off the M66 slip road tonight and take a right up past the Seven Stars pub. I was about ten cars or so behind.
Anyone? Just before 6pm tonight....

Aye, Paul who works here has a Trophy, but his is a standard plate, H. I have seen one or two Trophies on Shadsworth in the past. Common as bloody muck, I tell thee. ;)

That was SO near the same car that I bought! Love that colour on the 172 and it was only the d1ckhead salesman that made me turn around and walk away.
Great work on the car. Looks superb! :approve:

Top road this afternoon - between Bury and Rochdale. Gave her a flash and a wave and got sod all back.
The Ph.1 looked mint. Just a shame the driver had no manners. :clown:
