    Mudflaps fitted to 182 PICS

Do they flex at all? I mean, if you go over speed bumps and stuff - they won't snap or shatter, will they? I think a set for the rears would finish it off good and proper! :) D.

Not quite sure I follow the logic here...

Ok, here goes:- 182 goes into garage for 2 days Get a 1.2 Mk3 Clio as a courtesy car Need to contact my insurance to put the Mk3 Clio reg on my policy for two days. Need to pay an additional £25? Why? I've paid the insurance on my 182 and clearly the 1.2 is a less risk car. Why couldn't it...

    Current Mileage of your 182

Just a few more than 1. And I have the photographic evidence to prove it. ;) D.

Feck! Get them in black and I'd buy a set off you! :approve: D.

Has my 182 got the lowest mileage?

    That cheap?! Blimey! :) D.

Has my 182 got the lowest mileage?

I'm just glad it was covered under warranrty. God knows what Reno would have charged for a new dash console unit + fitting? D.

    Best V8 Sound??

Has to be the Morgan Aero 8 car in the GT races for me. The car looks fugly, but sounds immense. The last few seconds of the attached clip go some way to showing you how good it sounds. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9SyF8LgXgs D.

    Petrol blue 182 in Stockport? MJ54 **Z

Just speaking to Ste on the phone when one went past. He was sure it was petrol blue - not the arctic blue and definitely not racing blue. Spotted near the Nissan garage (Westway Nissan?) approx 20mins ago. D.

Has my 182 got the lowest mileage?

Apparently not. They probably can, but no doubt that would open up the whole potential of increased clocking of cars, etc. The thought did cross my mind last night, to put it up for sale..... "2004 Clio 182 in Black Gold. Car is hardly ever used (hence low mileage) - much cheapness price of...

Has my 182 got the lowest mileage?

Hehehe - not quite! Remember I mentioned about the faulty ESP switch on my car? Renault's eventual answer - give him a new display console! Obviously, the downside to that is that the mileage is back to zero - but I've got documentation (with Renault letterheads) stating what the mileage was...

    My new Clio V6

In all seriousness, is there much to be had from that, Matt? I take it that the engine and tranny should be ok though? Maybe extras like the light clusters and stuff, too? D.

    yay or nay?

Looks great - they really complement that colour of blue. Looking closer, they then match the smoked indicator lenses as well. Good move! :approve: D.

    Your first phone

Had this for a few weeks, straight from O2. Then The Matrix went on general release and they were like rocking-horse-sh1t to get hold of. ;) Some of the offers I got at work to buy just the phone off me, were stupid. I just can't believe that people get so needy with mobile...

36k Renault Service ripoff?? Any Alternatives?

Don't scare me, Maz! ;) Like I said before. If I was buying a 2nd hand RS Clio in particular - I'd put far more faith in a log book stamped with the likes of RenTech, GDI, RS Tuning, etc than normal Renault garages. These specialists see the same components day in-day out and often...

Me on track last Friday at Oulton Park

Great looking car, Herdie! Do you use it as a daily driver too, or is it strictly reserved for the track? How does it compare (purely in running costs) to the 172? I need to get my sums together for when I get one. ;) Did you not go to the MLR track day at Oulton last Friday? D.

    Realistic MPG for a 182

Mid-34's here - a midge's better with the ITG panel filter installed. Usually £40 a week in jungle-juice. As Ste 172 says, it's good mpg for what it is. D.

Black graphics issue on PC - inc. pic.

Tried it today on Vista 64. It ran noticably slower, but the graphics were spot on. Must be an XP64 issue.... :( D.

MLR Trackday - at Oulton Park today

Nice indeed. But for £24k? Bit much, methinks! That silver Evo 5 at the side of it was on sale for £8.5k, iirc? Mmmmm - yes pwease! D.

MLR Trackday - at Oulton Park today

That was only half of it. You should have heard that sound that came from it as well...:approve: Aye, the Scoob was a bit of a mess. Hopefully the damage is bodywork only. Though that rear wheel looked slightly out of line. :dapprove: I overheard the owner talking to someone and saying...

MLR Trackday - at Oulton Park today

Great weather for it today - but bloody freezing! Still, no doubt that helped maximise the benefit to the turbo'd engines :) Good mix of cars on track today - in particular one of the RC Evo's and a great sounding Scooby Clinic Impreza. RC Car...

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

Reading between the lines here....... "........ needs a new amp as I blew the old one at a show." "........ seals on the turbo need replacing." Am I the only one to think that this heap has been ragged to within an inch of its life? And then there's the paintwork. Jesus. Is the owner like 8...

Outlook 2000 not shutting down properley

We've had this a few times too - on both Office XP and Office 2003. More often than not, there are several of the same OUTLOOK.EXE files running - simply because they were too bloody impatient and double-clicked like a mofo to get Outlook up. :( Fecking users. ;) D.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Black Edition CPUs

Does anyone have one fitted? I was looking at the 6400+ Edition - not bad for the price. Though I'm wondering if the clock increase to 3.2Ghz is enough to warrant the upgrade from my current 2.64Ghz? Then again, if the Black Edition could easily handle 10% stock increase - that would be 3.52Ghz...

Black graphics issue on PC - inc. pic.

Managed to have another 'mess' before I saw your post above. It's definitely SLi related (now there's a surprise ) as COD4 comes with a option for Dual Cards. It's off by default and the game plays fine. When I activate it, that's when I get the issues as seen above. I wonder if the...
