Lead can't flag up a fault on individual cylinder, in fact not sure of a lead can actually throw a fault code up anyway?

Furry muff. How bad is the gearbox? Only ask as couldj ist be worth pulling the sump while engine is still in just in case you can get away with set of shells.

Got a 182 engine, belts done two years ago/3,000 miles. Are you 100% it's bottom end?

dephaser is floating, all the pulleys are, so doesn't need to be set.

waste of time trying to helicoil a plug, you need a timesert.

have you got the main live going to the correct terminal on the starter?

i've ran the correct bosch plugs and they are fine.

fitted about 20 or so, all red though, never had an issue. trim old rubber out apart from top, silicone spray and they push in 90% of the way by hand, finish off with small bar to hook the lip in place. takes longer to get old rubber out than to fit new bush.
