It's a funny one with exhausts. Some boom and others don't.
If you just want a bit of extra noise maybe just get an open cone filter. Get one for about £60 and put the £200+ you've saved by not getting an exhaust towards that sport you want :)
I really don't know why your going to meet him. I'd just ignore his phone calls. Nothing he can do.
If he has so much money he wouldn't be arsed over £150. Its hardly the end of the world is it? I'm sure traders have to deal with bigger problems than that.
Basically the gearboxes are going left right and centre in MK3's. Both 197's and 200's. The most common reported issue crunch at high revs between 3rd and 4th.
Its not good but its got warranty and you'll get a courtesy car. Seems to be a fair few common faults creeping up with the MK3's now. Especially the 'boxes.
I'm worried about getting a flat in my 182. Even a minor puncture will be a massive ball ache because there is no spare. I've had a fair few flat tyres in my time so I know at some point I'll have the situation of having to ring the AA because my car has no spare wheel.
Clean and original. Very rare these days.
I had a completely standard one mind, for about a week...
Nothing wrong with modding it though providing it can be put back to its original form. I suspect values of clean original ph1's will start to creep up again soon.
Nice to see you starting your Le Mans preparation a little earlier this year Naith ;)
Nice to see TDK getting some updates. The airbox and solid pipe will look cool and should be a better setup.
Gutted for you. At least everybody was ok. It would be my worst nightmare to hit a biker, regardless of fault.
Hopefully the cup will be back to its best soon.
Well they look reasonably standard. The copper would have to be a jobsworth, although most are. I'll keep my standard plate in my car, plead ignorance and hope they let me off if I get stopped.
I've also just noticed how quickly you passed your test <2 weeks. How the hell did you do that??? Well done regardless of how you did it, that's some record.
Nice first car that mate. I said I wanted a dci as my first car but got a cracking deal on a 1.2 16v instead. The rev counter would annoy me though, god knows why Renault didn't alter it for the diesel models on the pre-facelift.
Well I get a different reaction to my mx5 which they either say was amazing, or more usually, s**t.
Most girls don't even notice an RS Clio is any different to a normal one. Its certainly not a car for impressing the ladies. That said if you need a car to impress girls then its a pretty sorry...
Not sure on the door cards. The recaro'd cars definitely got the poverty spec rear bench though. I wouldn't be concerned by it. Your lucky to find a FF with recaros tbh.
I don't see the problem, they use the standard lettering and its in the same place. All that's different is there is less excess plate around the letters.
I'm going to get a 3/4 plate. I know loads of people that run them with no issue. It depends where you live to be honest. In Salford the...
It has potential. When's the RS model out, 2013?
I will definitely be booking myself in for a test drive when its out, I'll be really interested to see how the boosted engine alters the character of the car.
Personally I think the smaller hot hatches a are lot more suited to an n/a engine.
I had a centre section in mine and it was always boomey, and always droned on the motorway. I just don't think its a good system.
I wouldn't recommend a ktec stealth to my worst enemy. That's imo of course, some (not many) like them.
It looks clean. I like silver wheels on the titanium 182's.
Needs a cup spoiler and get rid of those tints, frankly, they look terrible.
Its a nice blanc canvas though. I like buying standard cars.
There can't be many MK1 Clio's around now.
I'd go for a MK2 personally. Its so rare to see a MK1 now, the last few years they seem to have all disappeared off the road.
Its apparently a lot harder to change than first thought because of steering angle sensors for the esp. Warren had actually bought a cup rack but never fitted it.
