Spacer literally "welded" onto front hub/disc

Right this is easy surely? Jack both sides up and remove both front wheels. Put two bolts back In the space. Wedge a crowbar, 2-3 foot one, through the bolts and it should rest on the floor. Get in car and put it in gear and start to accelerate slowly. This may work, or it may not

    Changing Crank Pulley

My first one was never a problem but it's for piece of mind more than anything as they are known to randomly do it! Not a bad price then!

    Changing Crank Pulley

It won't need full aux kit, just the belt for piece of mind as tensioner will be off virtually straight away and cost of a belt being f**k all it'll be worth it for the month or so before it comes off. I'm currently running standard setup with AC. Will be supercharging current engine and then...

    Changing Crank Pulley

Cheers Danny, I knew there was something I was missing. What would you charge for cambelt and key way (Megane 225) pulley fitted?

    Changing Crank Pulley

So there are two parts that unbolt but together using the one bolt?
  13. DannyR

    Changing Crank Pulley

But why? Doesn't the crank have the teeth on that keeps the timing. The Pulley for the aux parts is just bolted on is it not?

January Meet - Saturday 21st January - Snetterton Circuit

    Changing Crank Pulley

Only changing outer pulley as the Crank is already keywayed, so won't this mean that the timing belt will stay in place on the crank? I'm not going against what saying just trying to get my head round why I'd need to have the timing tools etc...

    Changing Crank Pulley

Need to change my standard crank pulley to a keywayed Megane one. Do I need to lock everything in place? I would of thought not as the timing part of things isn't moving, just undoing the bot out of the middle of it. Obvious I will have to lock the flywheel or crank so I can torque the crank...

    Bb content (FAO: JDM Fanboys)

Loved these for a while. Living near Mildenhall & Lakenheath the amount of USDM cars is mad, some epic things out this way. The one round here has these wheels on though :) And whilst searching for those wheels this appeared next to it Although looking at that picture i don't think it's...

DannyR's 3rd Supercharged Clio trying to be Epic Build Thread

I'm using a small intercooler, best bet is one from eBay. Try another company for SC, in Scotland, forget their name now. It's only TTS and this company that can sell them in the UK direct from Rotrex. My parts came back all powder coated today. Sent them off Tuesday so quick turn around...
