Very good mate, theres always going to be limitations as to what can be done.
My old boys a mechanic/engineer and as i said the same as you he always said theres no substitute for cubic capcity.
Theres eye for individuality though ;)
I gather this is the 1.5 DCi engine variant? Thats fair gains there, you generally find that diesels across the board respond better to remaps regarding torque and mid range acceleration.
I always think that unless you have a direct air feed i.e a false fog/spot light then heatsoak is always going to be an issue...?
I have one one my 106 GTi and tbh having not had it RR or anything theres no way to tell? Sure it makes it sound nice but real world gains...?

Clearly what happened is all the Hondas V-Tec'd at the same time and the world span the other way creating some sort of reverse fusion like state and every other vehicle came to a standstill.
