I think from reading these forums m8, 99% of Clios seem to do it! Mine started the same noise around the 10k mark and Reno fixed it - though they wouldn't tell me what they had done? :S
I think it's started to come back now with 26k on the clock as I've noticed the odd clunk sound, usually on...
Would be good as a general purpose machine - one that you attach anything and everything too. If I bought something like that, I'd whack dual DVD-RW drives in there, connect my printer, iPod, and cameras, etc. I'd also cram it with cheap HDD storage - would be good to store loads of MP3s...
Man - if the mod does Oulton Park justice, I'll be wiping man-mayo off the screen in no time...
ukaskew - you should be fine with those specs m8. I tried running it on my XP3200 system with an older 9800 Pro card in and that was fine for the most part. The killers in terms of in-game graphics...
Spotted it yesterday, approx 5pm at the traffic lights. After-market alloys which looked really good on it. Driver kept his hi-vis jacket on - clearly going for the unmarked Police car look.
Obviously a good choice in 182 colour, there..... ;)

Ok - let's get the ball rolling. I think I'll have to get the unlocked tracks setup (using that SDNDTG.DYN file creation - assuming it works?) and start from there. What's the first track on the list?
D.
Got my eye on this one. I couldn't get the open Beta working on XP64, but I saw some people trying it on XP32 PCs. Seems quite in-depth from what I saw. Isn't it the same geezers who made TA that are making Supreme Commander?

C&C Generals Zero Hour for me - still the benchmark. As the Hoff says above, the Total War series is a cracker too - just make sure you have decent hardware to run the latest Medieval Total War 2 - that's a proper resource hog.
Company of Heroes is a good one too - much better imo than the...
^^^^ - I'm just thinking that if we have several challenges going on at once Ben, then people will just loose track of what car & what track combo and just ignore it.
Maybe still keep to one track / two car choice, but change it to a weekly challenge? I agree, it doesn't take that long to set...
We need to setup a monthly challenge. One track and a choice of two cars. Each with screenshot proof of what you've achieved.
I think for simplicity's sake, the cars should remain standard (with the exception of tyre choice) and be filled with 10 laps worth of fuel.
A monthly challenge would...
It's a good quote that m8.
My 182 insurance when I got it back in Dec 04 was just under £800. And that was at the age of 30, no points, no convictions and been driving since 17!

I actually like it. :o
Well, apart from the front and rear - it looks a job well done.
As Funnycar says though, it would be a prime target for vandals. As sh1t-thick, p1ss-drinking dregs of society that they are - even they know that the paint-job would have cost a fair bob or two.
Not...
LOL - too bloody right! The PSP is a great piece of kit, but to think they could emulate the standard set by GT3 on a handheld console? No chance - not with the PSP anyway.
Maybe a tweaked and slightly revamped view of GT1 or GT2, but never what was achieved with GT3 or GT4....
Shame...
I'd probably go for a black base and racing blue lettering, if it was me. The problem with the standard badges is the fact that you have to be quite close to actually see what it says.
They are a great size to get painted and stand out just that little bit more. Not chavy, just an indicator...
Great match m8 - seriously - they look like the could have been an option when buying the car new!
Really does stand out, in a brilliantly subtle way when the car is clean. Just wished I'd had them done bloody ages ago now!
D.
Well, I got the door badges all-painted up, off Middo and I think they suit the car perfectly. He managed to get the exact colour combination that I was after and I'm really chuffed with them.
Much, much better than the boring silver plastic look!
Thanks also...
I'd also check that the Network Connections service has been started autiomatically, Mike. I'd also fire up the NLA (Network Location Awareness) service at the same time. You shouldn't need it, but it may enable you to get the NIC up and running.
I'd agree with you that the issue sounds...
- almost - apart from the shed of a Suzuki egg-box 140cc mobile that was between us. I was in the Golf TDi up front and clearly you didn't want to open up the 172 - there were plenty of places where you could have overtook the owd biddy in the Suzuki! ;)
Turned off down the M65 towards the M6...
:eek::eek::eek::eek:
I bet that used to cost a fortune?! It must still be a hefty wedge per year at the moment?
How much of that 16MB is used for 'personal reasons', Lee? ;)
D.
Yep, and unlike SDSL, leased-line circuits are priced on the geographic distance between point A and point B. We gave up with LL when a single 256k connection (yep, 256k!) between Blackburn and Birmingham was just over £10k per year.
Having said that, they are very, very reliable - and being...
^^^^^ - Stevie - a bad worker always blames his tools! :rasp: I know what you mean about the roads though. Shame I was concentrating a bit too much on sticking to them, than admiring the scenery.
Forgot to post one shot of Steve's Monaro as well - the one with that puny, tiddler of an...
Absolutely gutting - WTF do these cnuts get out of doing this anyway?!?!?
I can definitely recommend a bodyshop for you, but it's up here in Bury. They didn't a 110% job on Jain's car when it was keyed. Bit of a trek for you mind...
Can Mike @ RenTech suggest anyone decent in your area?

......256 miles later, we're back home! :D
Our little convoy of four V6's, one 182 and a 'little' Vauxhall Monaro took on some of the best roads that the Lakes had to offer. Great, traffic free (for the most part) stretches of the black stuff combined with the boom of Jain's Quicksilver exhaust...
I don't really care about the graphics at all. The shining light / damning shame of it (whichever the case will be) will be with the non-linear side of the game. Many developers have tried it, but how many have actually managed it?
The knack is to get a scripted environment, loaded with enough...
