roloc disc in a die grinder to get the coating off the hub mating face, but you're going to struggle like hell to get it out of the bolt hole taper!! also you might have trouble if the coating is thick in the spigot hole.
shame they didn't mask them up before they coated them.
chucked a set of the nankang on the wife's 172 when we first got it, they are an ok tyre. not amazing when you thrash it to death but price considered not bad.
can't remember if they are a normal o ring or an iso one? if you have trouble getting any give me a shout. if they look ok though no need to replace, just make sure the fitting goes all the way back on.
any smell of petrol by the way?
had a couple now not quite clipped back in to place properly, look and feel as though they have but not 100% all the way. check the integrity of the seals then try a little bit of rubber grease and clip it back on.
