don't trust rs tuner for diagnostics, had two phase 1's both with eml on, rs tuner said no faults on either of them. get it plugged in to something half decent at least before you go wasting money changing parts 'just in case'

you could do it in situ, would be a bit fiddly but could be done.

as long as the gaskets come away without damage then no problem re using them BUT clean the gasket and both manifold faces and use a bit of sealant on them, i always use stag wellseal as it's fantastic!!
