tighten, let gasket compress, tighten again to same figure and then tighten to angle.

check the carrier isn't bent, had this a couple of times and it lets the pad drop out.

if you want synth in it i can do it for a hell of a lot less than £60 but would stick to mineral though.

5th gear selector fork was mullered to say the least, oil was pretty much metallic when it was drained out so thinking contaminated oil giving issue between the plates. was also locking up a touch low as well.

everyone i spoke to said no synthetic oil in with plate diff. i'm still sticking with oil contamination from the selector fork.

if an airbag has gone off then you should have an airbag light on the dash.

avo turn stuff round bloody quick to say the least.

and a little knowledge is a dangerous thing:wink: cheapy/generic obd readers are next to useless. they can and do miss a hell of a lot. i tried an rs tuner on two phase 1s, both had management lights on yet it didn't bring up any faults.
