nope, the easiest way is find someone with the kit linked that will get it off without damaging it. but if you want to go for it and 'shatter' the collar then have fun and don't forget when you miss with a lump hammer the only things you're going to damage are your knuckles or the wheel:wink:
measure resistance, check spray/volume and then check open time, kick back voltage etc but need scope for that. majority of the time resistance check and spray is enough to make sure they are ok.
definite misfire and do sound like they are out. did a trophy on bodies the other week, two fouled plugs, one dodgy lead, air leak on one of the bodies and waaaaaaay out of balance!! no.4 was popping away until it was all done.
bit of rubber tube over the end of the pipe with a bolt to bung it up or you can get little clamps to seal the end up.
had a tidy today and found powerflex dog bone bushes!! could of done yours while you were in the other day sorry.
i didn't look through at what was on ebay, just the one i linked came up on the first one and it was reasonably local. other on is a pretty good price though.
think a rebuild on the sachs is around £400-500?
if you're planning on keeping it for a while i wouldn't bother about the cat d side of things. as long as you got it for a good price it's all relative.
knock it inwards at one of the dents and it will come out easy enough or cut through it until you hit the dogbone itself and then bend it in and remove.
