Cool, was just wondering as its only really people that have owned/driven the GT to extent to know that about them. It was a little bit of a pain in the arse when it did happen but you really had to stand on the brake pedal to make it do it...!
Had a tussle with a Yaris T or two when i had...
Dont think so mate, he hasnt posted any problems with it on here anyway.
Keep in mind that its an 8 year old car so its not going to be absolutley flawless with regard to condition. So long as its been serviced it should be okay. Nothing major has gone wrong in the time ive had mine, just daft...

Had mine in at Renault 3 weeks ago.

I think it helps the fact that i have the optic lens on it that cars with factory Xenon fitment get makes it look original as it were
Me again lol, I have a 2001 Ph1 aswell mate. Love it dearly
Same again mate, belts done are a must or that would need to come down atleast £500

It does sound like your car could be misfiring mate.
Possibly a faulty coil pack or faulty High Tension lead going into each of the 4 coils?
Are there any lights illuminated on the dash mate?
Remember one thing, hes selling. Your buying so techinically the balls in your court.
The swinger is going to be if the belts havent been done, this is an absolute must if it hasnt already been done. If they have, test the water and remind him you would be coming from Edinburgh to potentially...
