the 1.4 16v isnt bad, but this guy has the 1.4 8v and its not anywhere near as nippy as the 1.4 16v.

it could either be a wheel bearing, or does it get louder the higher the rpm? Just thinking maybe its induction sound and oyu've only just noticed it??

ok well benefit of a k&n panel filter is you never have to replace it, and should be more free flowing so in theory give better response. If you'd notice it on a 1.4 or not is debateable

are we talking k&n induction kit or panel fiilter? induction kit will improver sound, but not really do anything for performance. Panel filter wont really do much of anything on a 1.4

well at the moment i've got a 1.6 clio, so next step is either a ph1 172, 106GTi or a VX220 EDIT: Oooh almost forgot, other option is a Classic shpae Mini Cooper with the aftermarket cooper tuning pack

I have macromedia fireworks so can change the pictures to png, will look at getting that done over the next few weeks. As for whoever has accused me of using frontpage, you can f**k off, was all written by hand in notepad!
