FM - see, thick as pig-sh*t me for directions?! ;)
Chris, nope - didnt see you m8. Wheres the RUG???? Some woman in a 54 plate silver 182 came alongside Ensor this morning and I waved at her. Just looked at me completely blank......
Probably thought "theres another one of those Clio driving...
Lee - good, positive responses there m8. And you must be bloody smug having that 007 number - jammy sod! ;)
The rawness of the 182 Trophy definitely appeals. My ideal Evo would be a VI RS Sprint, which if Im lead to believe doesnt even come with a boot carpet as standard - so I do appreciate...
I personally dont see the point unless, you want exclusivity or youre a trackday person....... or both.
Coming from another make and model of car to the 182 Trophy - fine, but to go from a 182 to a Trophy wouldnt be worth it in my book. I think it was Lee who said that it laps approx a second...
Im lazy - I know and cant be bothered reading the manual, but......
Whats that little button thing for underneath the passenger-side wing mirror. I only noticed it this weekend while washing it. The drivers mirror hasnt got one?

What pisses me off is that they get nothing from it. Its not like knicking a stereo or alloys or something...
Why, why, why???!
They all need booting in the bollox, if you ask me. Jain had her MR2 keyed very badly and there were a few suspicious marks on her Cooper S after that. Total...
I know what you mean. Some days it feels a little sluggish and others, it just flies. Interesting point about the cat build-up - never thought of that one...

Escobar - they are like rocking-horse sh*t to get hold of m8. I had the similar situation when my rear got nailed - the Reno dealership said oh, we never keep any of those in stock...

Very nice Topper - looking good m8.... :D
What does it say on the door badge? Still "2.0 16v"? It would be could if there was a subtle turbo badge somewhere.
I really like the Meg 225. I honestly dont think most people know what they are or what they can do. And if the performance is on par...
Makes you think, doesnt it? Not all refurbed cars are going to be top-drawer quality and clearly some will be botched jobs.
I wonder how many weekend repaired cars are out there on the roads?
Sad to see a broom yellow GT in such a state....
D.
Chris, was this a black gold 182? I passed one at Junc 3 (M65) late yesterday, coming back from Birmingham.....
Topper - youve switched to a Meggy then???? Are you muchos liking??? Went out for a ride in Brum in a LCR while I was down there - god, I miss turbos so much....
D.
Went past you on the M65 - I think you pulled off at Junction 4, eastbound. Didnt get a proper look at it as the Beemer I was driving at the time was tramlining like buggery. Felt a little dangerous to be honest. :o
Would have been about 2.50pm this afternoon.....

I still miss my GT..... :(
They have their faults (as does everything else) but they shouldnt be under-estimated. Even standard ones have 145lb/ft torque compared to the 182s 148lb/ft and they are slightly lighter - admittedly, not by much.
The single biggest fault with them is that the car...
Whats the rarest of the production Scoobies?
Are they as bad at attracting unwanted attention as the most people think?
I really like them, but I have a preference for an Evo. ;)
D.
Jim ^^^^ - wise words. Try having a go in a tub of lard that is the Punto GT and youll realise just what bad handling is.... ;)
Still miss the little fecker though.....
