It seems hit & miss m8. The wifes 05 plate 182 didnt come with it from the Renault garage, despite having both Cup packs installed. My 54 plate 182 came with it on though....????
Were chasing this up with Renault at the moment....

What an absolute t**ser m8 - that other driver should be tw*ted in the nads with a blunt instrument for what hes done to your car....
I dont know what to say. What can you say in a situation that Ive never experienced myself? I just hope it comes to the most beneficial situation for you...
In real terms though, does 200 brake feel any different to the stock 182? Id hazard a guess that similar increase would be more noticable in torque than bhp?

These are like rocking horse sh*t to get hold of - apparently Michelin themselves cant give an accurate delivery date. Ive been offered an Exalto rated at EE instead of V. This one they can get hold of, but its another tenner.
£140 all-in seems a bit steep to me....

It was like a cream/biege colour Chris - new shape diesel.
Liam, I probably will m8. Like I said in the previous post, Im not that mithered about myself. But Id be sh*t-scared if Jain was put in a similar situation in her car and I dare say ppl like Chris would be worried about Nic too...

Evos great - especially that old chappie who goes on about techie bits. He was the first to properly explain V-TEC systems to me in an article.
That Nismo Z-Tune Skyline in this months edition was just pure automotive p**n. Quite a bargain at £86k I thought, but only bound for the Jap home...
Toypop - my thoughts exactly. I wish Id memerised the reg plate to be honest. It was a rental car - you could tell because it had one of those large "The car takes diesel fuel" stickers that covered the filler cap...
The switch in conversation to the 182 was a clear giveaway and the fact that...
Just been to Asda now and as per usual, Ive parked in some distant corner to avoid the muppets with the trolleys. Got back to my car, fired it up and was just putting the seatbelt on when a new-shape Micra pulled up alongside my door.
Two blokes were in it and the driver asked if I spoke...
We picked up my wifes 182 on Saturday and as we set off, the doors automatically locked. I thought this was a new feature of the 05 plate cars until I was told how to do it on mine.
Set the auto lock today and it works fine. Quite chuffed in a bizarre way . Just shows you that it...
Started in 1976 by Ernie Larton, L.A.D. is a family company with over 27 years experience in the tuning business, gaining the reputation as one of the countrys leading tuning companies.
Initially tuning and racing Hillman Imps, L.A.D. has moved on through the ranks of the Talbot Samba for both...
DOH! Spotted my own mistake. Its not the racing blue - its the arctic blue shes gone for....
fmp_ Its worked out really well finance wise. The front tyres on her MCS were shot, so theyd need replacing soon and the tax was up for renewal at the start of June. The monthly payments are...
Got one from Zorba myself. Didnt quite fit snuggly as I had hoped, but after I trimmed a few of the rubber edges down, it was ok.
Id agree with Adam - it feels smoother overall throughout the rev range. Also, I immediately got 1mpg more on the dash display. Could be coincidence with the engine...
Adam - yup on both accounts. Had the bonnet up the other day and the manufacturer stamp said the build date was August 2002.
She would still probably have it...... if it wasnt for the rear calipers sticking, the front windscreen being replaced twice, a grinding noise coming from the nearside...
The funny thing is, she spends longer deciding what to have for dinner than what car to get next! :D
It will be a little weird seeing two Clios outside the house.....

Well, in a matter of hours today, the wife has bagged-off her :@ demonic :@ Mini Cooper S and a racing blue 182 is ready for her to pick up 9.30am on Saturday.....
Maybe Ill be able to splice the two together and get a 4.0litre Clio 364!
D.
Matt - dont take the mick. For all you know, he may have swiped a 2.6litre McBeefy engine, straight from a Skyline and transplanted it....
Then again..... ;)
D.
I can give you the number of my wife if you like - ask her what she thinks of her Cooper S. ;)
Shes half-inclined to leave the keys in it, hoping that it will be knicked....

Driving back from Tescos just now, I thought I caught glimpse of some spinners on a car. I slowed down and as I approached this junction, some bloke who looked like a cross between Pete Waterman and Les Battersby was behind the wheel of a red Corolla.
Not just any red Corolla mind, this one...
If by missus you mean married rather than just girlfriend/fiancee etc, then definitely - you normally get cheaper insurance....
Depends on her driving ability though. Jain (my wife) is a cracking driver and one of the few people Id trust with the keys of my 182 with...

If it is the same one, I pulled up alongside him at those lights and let onto to him. He just look across as though I was a freak. Well, he was half right... ;)

Topper - did it have the non-Cup wheels on it - driven by a woman with short black hair?
If it is, Ive seen this one a few times at Junc 5 of the M65....
