Quite weird.
Took this picture of the moon last night. It had a ring-like halo effect on it. Just a shame I didn't have a higher rez camera and a steadier hand to take the picture with!
Good choice m8 :D
I've had mine since December last year and it's got a lot better with age. The gearbox imo, was horribly notchy from new but started to feel better from about 4,000 miles onwards. Now it feels great everytime the engine & transmission has had chance to warm up.
The engine...
Whatever floats your boat really, but personally, I think they are horrendous. This isn't a 1.2 owner sticking a RenaultSport badge on the rear of the car. It's a complete external transformation. I dread to think how much a 'decent' attempt must cost, let alone the many crap attempts we've...
Should I take out the ITG panel filter and swap it for the original one for the upcoming 12k service? Or should I come clean, tell them its there and not to bother charging me for a new filter?
I'll be taking it to a Reno dealer for the service. Unless Rentech opens up a branch, Manchester...
Battlefield 2 is massively addictive online. If you've got a broadband connection - even 512k will do, be prepared to witness hours of your life disappear....

Belkin have gone a bit down-hill in recent times. Like for like, I find Netgear to be more user-friendly...
Anyone had experience of Belkin's Pre-N stuff?

In my view, I think they will retain their value. Rarity definitely has a positive effect on their values (I know the location of just one V6) and I think for most Clio owners, they are the car to aspire to.
Although not cheap, I think the general maintenance costs from what I've read from you...
It IS supposed to be happening m8. YOu have to chase them up yourself to provide the service though....
Mind you, 10MB is nothing..... ;)

Good move Chris - gimme a shout if you're going online m8! You're right with it not running BF2 - that needs DirectX 9, which the Ti range of cards never supported. Like Lee says - GT Legends too!

Bloody hell - I had one of those about 8 years ago. I great big external Plextor jobbie that came with its own SCSI PCI card. It could only burn CDs at single speed as well and usually had a paddy at like 98% complete or something - wasting a complete CD in the process.
I thought most SCSI CD...
Fecking 'ell - were you that good on GTR as well??? If so, there's no point me racing you - I won't stand a chance! :)
I found it really hard to race the CPU oppostion in GTR. They seemed to have additional benefit at the start - almost like they didn't have cold tyres and stuff. The grip and...
Jeezuz - how good does that look???!
As for the online CS race - definitely. Probably weekends is the best time for me. What about everyone else?
Good stuff Nik.
I must admit, one thing I found crap with GTR was the fact that the physics engine couldn't really handle power-slides and oversteer. Yet even in the GTL demo, I found it remarkably straight-forward to maintain an Elan's drift through a sweeping bend - constantly...
Careful about the car being on your dad's policy m8. Loads of insurers are clamping down on that option - it was only supposed to be there as a get-out clause in the first place - being able to drive a car that was 'technically' listed against another driver for emergency situations.
It...
Bad, bad news - that must be awful to actually witness, realising you can do sod all to stop it.
I did have my previous car on some ice on the road a few years back. Just sat still in traffic, it starting sliding backwards - not quickly, but it picked up momentum. Luckily the cars in front...
Ok m8 - no probs.
I'm the opposite to you in that I've got F.E.A.R but haven't installed it. Not sure if my PC spec is even up to it, bearing in mind that CoD2 is like a slideshow on mine.... :dapprove:
D.
Come on Lee - what's it like?
I nipped into PC World earlier and they had it on the shelves at £34.99 (hmmm, bargain :S ) but I'll have to wait until the end of the week before I can order it from Play.
The screenshots on the casing look great. Have you managed to have a go of the 911 yet...
Roy - mine's the following MSI mobo, m8....

With the 3200+XP CPU fitted, Radeon 9800Pro and 2x 512MB Corsair PC3200 memory. Runs most things fine - Battlefield 2, GTR, etc - but CoD2 just dies on my PC. Unless there's some...
Have you enough voltage going to the gfx card? I take it that it's an up-to-date one?
Have you connected to the right VGA socket on the rear?! Sounds daft, I know, but if the PC comes with onboard VGA and you've added another gfx card, its an easy mistake to make.
Similarly, if you already...
I could run the original one no problems at all m8. However, the follow-up is definitely a step-up in spec requirements. Roy, that bit near the start where you prepare for the German counter-attack - I'm not kidding, I was easily on sub 5fps on that initially. It bogged down so much..... :(...
