ITG panel filter. In or out for service?

Should I take out the ITG panel filter and swap it for the original one for the upcoming 12k service? Or should I come clean, tell them its there and not to bother charging me for a new filter?

I'll be taking it to a Reno dealer for the service. Unless Rentech opens up a branch, Manchester way? ;)

i just had mine cleaned at Rentech, no charge for an additional filter, prefer the ITG

  not a clio anymore
Yeah, just leave it it, tell Renault not to change it and they won't charge you for a new filter.

  ST on the way...
The Renault F1 team use ITG for their filters so Renault can hardly say they don't work properly or cause damage!

I've always left mine in and just asked them not to do the filter. They should knock you a good few quid off the price of the service too.

They'll probably forget to change the filter anyway - it's a special order item on the 12K service, for RS clios only.
