Lovely thread title. Thanks for contributing to the growing stereotype that everyone on here is an idiot.

    Void Insurance

Things you're doing wrong: Interest rates on insurance policies are currently massive in general, so per month may be £70 but the policy may only be £500 originally. TPFT is not actually always cheaper (personally in my case it pretty much never is). It was cheaper to be FC on my first 172...

    MX5 Number 2.

Expensive hubcentrics are great IME, cheap ones do feel funny though. I think it's due to how light and how well they sit flush with the wheel/hub if you get expensive ones.

    Any meets closer to me??

I'll be organising something shortly, I've been waiting for the weather to pick up but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. (I've also been rather busy of late but that's another story). Expect some details in a couple of weeks :)

Buy a skoda splitter and wrap it. Done. Ph1's do look better with a skoda splitter, even not carbon, trust me. Looks awesome btw mate, really tidy.

That locking nut should work on that bolt on there. Just needs a lot of pressure on it, it's obviously already warped, but if you press hard enough on the bar as you try to turn it, it should be fine. Man up ;) Nice idea with the playing cards BTW.

Looks an honest enough motor from those pictures, a good polish could save those headlights, or at worst a wet sand and machine polish. With regards to the seat, you can fix it but it's a bit awkward, new seats come up on here quite often though so that's an option. Welcome to the club.

DannyR's 3rd Supercharged Clio trying to be Epic Build Thread

As far as I'm aware there's not no, there's a different amount of pins which makes working it out not simple in the slightest.
