    CAD Questions Thread?

I can, give me five. Looking at the UCS on the drawing, it is actually wrong in terms of x and y.

    CAD Questions Thread?

It's the other way around, the model space in the one I'm copying to has been rotated 90 degrees. How do you rotate the entire model space?

    CAD Questions Thread?

OK so this is probably a n00b question, but it's what happens when you've taught yourself. Anyway: I've got a drawing that if I paste stuff into, it comes out 90 degree different to the other drawings. Is this a case of rotating the UCS or something?

    DSLR Repair, Anyone Know Anyone?

Scratch that, fixed it. Was the little sensor that tells the camera if there's an external flash on there. Gave it a clean with a thin piece of plastic. Sorted.

    DSLR Repair, Anyone Know Anyone?

Bosses camera is broken (ish) internal flash does not pop up or operate. It's a Cannon 500D. Anyone know anyone around London/Kent that's any good to repair it? Thanks all.

    2001 Renault Clio Grande 1.2, £150 project.

Definitely tax it. The type of car it is will be a ball ache to sell without IMO. Oh and cracking work, proper little bargain.

Can't say I like it on the 18's sorry :( Nice car though Joe, do you feel it's the better choice than the z4mr? Quite a contrast compared to what you were looking for. CSL's yeah?

Update: Network people, help extending wifi signal please

I know wireless is awesome, and I have a £3000 signal booster sitting on someone's window sill but does not make it through the massively thick metal container I'm in. So I'm going wired into here then broadcasting for the four of us.

Update: Network people, help extending wifi signal please

I've got proper tools, all supplied by the data centre. So Adam, I just do it as shown and it'll work? Dan I can't buy pre done as the distance and tight gaps wouldn't fit a head

Update: Network people, help extending wifi signal please

Re: Network people, help extending wifi signal please OK network geeks, the time is here. I've run the cable through the slab and got it coming out of a small hole by an extract fan. Now, terminations, is there only one way to terminate the cable? i.e is it different for patches or...

It's nice, really nice, but it's got too many doors. :( I do however love how every time you get a new car you try to convince us it's a keeper. :o

Re: CSS... Meet at 7.15am Lakeside! Why on earth would you meet this early? Just why?

    Well I just don't get it... :/

I'd guess that the reduction in premium he'd receive for removing the alloys covered the admin fee the first time, so they just say "no charge" rather than "here's £18 back, now we'd like £18 admin fee" Simple.

Update: Network people, help extending wifi signal please

Re: Network people, help extending wifi signal please Didn't think of doing that actually, could be an idea! It's a tiny porta-cabin so wires are no issue. Won't be over 100m, don't worry about that. Glad it's that simple though, it's either that or a usb dongle and wifi router for...

Update: Network people, help extending wifi signal please

Re: Network people, help extending wifi signal please Everything here is PC, isn't apple a bit overpriced/pointless? I'm not being sarky btw, just asking. Wireless access point eh? So that'd be cat5 out the back of the router upstairs into the access point, the access point then...

Hi ya'll. Right, I have a situation, office outside in a portable cabin, the wifi from inside the building (proper data centre so the customer wifi is fairly decent). We're allowed to use this wifi, but with the portable cabin being thick metal, and the glazing/walls on the building being...
