a good 190-200bhp from a high revving screamer...which i love.
I would do some flow research on the head as some people say that the std head flows more than enough as std and velocity is poor as std....
But i would fit at least the willy 32mm valves, get bronze guides, throttle bodies of...
high rpm on teh std crank will need basic blueprinting and balancing......but i would stick with teh 1.8 as that has a better crank and can rev FAR higher with work....itll sound sexier.....and you can get about the same max power.
i know the 4wd thing, thats why i dont like them....awful drive on the limit....
and ref the brown stuff, is that on the rd or in your pants? LOL
agree with you toatally on drive according to the conditions.....
hmmm.....
not many cars you actually replace a chip on the baord.
superchips most use serial reprogramming and crack teh original ECU code.....its easier.
i worked on the map for my own 172 and the RS-R conversion and we just reprogrammed. some with the new minis as we did some of them too.

i think through discussion whe are arriving at the same point.
ABS should not be misused, but it is definately a good thing to have.
Although relying on it in your sense, i.e. allowing it to kick in concienciously, it not as bad as you think. ABS especially on teh clio is extreemely...

Are theya ctual chips or serial reprograms as my 172 has a serial program to replace the std prameters.
They couldnt send that if the otehr side didnt have teh right apparatus.
hahaha....i see you ran out to your cars! nice! thats primarty research mate!
anyway, i went up to read my 250cc super kart manual, and in it it said:
* SUPER CAUSION WARNING DEATH *
The lack of ABS can lead to super duper over confidence in the use of non abs equiped vehicles. Please tell...

TB1, your attitude is of arrogance........that is why you are proclaiming we RELY (you really love that word dont ya!) om ABS.
ANd your examples...completlely useless......im not saying that ABS will stop you where a noin abs equipped car wont......thats just plain silly.....
