1.6 16v is a good base engine for tuning (can get 220bhp+ but that'll cost around £10,000+) if you cant stretch to a 172. You can pick up a ph1 172 for about £4000 these days though.
theres island near me i slide round, drive round it quite fast, once it starts to slide keep foot on the accelrator untill i want to stop sliding then lift off and the car will skip back the other way, get control back and acclerate away again :D

take the bottom half of the rear bench out, put back rest's all the way down and voila, it looks like a stripped carpeted interior, lol. sorry mate, havent got any pics of a car like that but it would give you a good idea.
W reg 1.6 would more than likely be a 16v. the 1.6 8v will make a STANDARD 1.2 16v look silly, but with what he's got i'm not surpirsed he can keep up. 16v clio was yours a 1.2 or 1.4 dynamique? the 1.4 dynamiques do keep up with the 1.6 8v. As for holding onto a C2 VTR, thats no surpirse, i...
