I have to say I normally dont like body kitted cars, and i especially have a thing againts badboy bonnets, BUT... I really like your car, wouldnt have it myself, but i do like it. As for the badboy, i think its really good, does kinda make the lights look like corsa headlights though
not had it done. when mines fully warmed up it kicks in at about 5900rpm in 1st and 6100 in the rest of the gears. if its not quite warm it seems to kick in at 5800.
yes you can use the williams bottom end with the 16v head, but it isnt as good, your best using the 2.0 megane head. for 180bhp the cheapest way would be to go turbo, i would imagine throttle bodies would get you there but in the long run cost much mroe money. Speak to nick read if he's still...
Maz phone them back, Its not good enough that they arent going to sort it and I'm sure that this thread will put a lot of people off them if they dont sort it for you.
I do know someone that has a pair sitting at home waiting to go on. Think if he see's this all my hard work trying to convince him to do what he wants and not listen to you guys will have been wasted. lol
Most insurance companies put down exhausts as non-standard exhaust/mainfold. that means you pay the same for a non standard back box as you would for a 4-2-1 manifold, decat and full cat back exhaust, so they WILL insure it. Vinny as I said last night, it IS worth it and ignorance is bliss ;)
nah, when i had my MOT done i needed two new shocks, and one new spring, and as the pro's where in the boot they fitted them for me, but they wanted an extra hours labour to do the rears!
The pro's where second hand, straight onto new shocks, so probably dont need much settling in. They seem to have given a 40mm ish drop.As for what I'm doing next, obviously need to get the rears on, I'm having Omars OMP strutbrace when its available, and I have some paint to spray my engine...
it does look like a 40mm drop, i didnt measure it before they where fitted. I think the front end will lift a bit once the rears are on, the weight wont be shifted to the front so much then
