possibly, but the cam profile in it is already what some would call a rally cam....its pretty damn lumpy as it......and anything more would need a far more advanced VVT system.
im not sure but it might be tactics as this way it leaves tehm teh option to scoop more power from the old...
BMWs double Vanos design is in essence an advanced for of VVT, as it alows advance and r****d of inlet and exhaust indepandantly.
however, on teh 172, our VVT is useless basically.
it turns on when 12V is applied to the plunger adn teh cam phaser shifts (advances) the cam by a set amount of...
David, if theses are teh twin plenham inlet manifold with twin Tbs as in the cliotrophy, i can find people in HK interested.
possibly the charger........what is entailed in the fitting of it?
as you can see from teh pic, teh maxi is not dry sunped (it seems) and thus, when racing, the oil in the sump undergoes major lateral forces and surge and blowby become a problem, if you keep teh original setup, you will get ltrs of oil through your tb into your engine...
all down to manufacturing tolerances, oil types people use, running in methods (i.e. thrashing works well).......cylinder compression, coke buildup, state of compononents, MON, etc etc etc....to many variable to have all cars out the factory make the same power.

backpressure is a relatively misunderstood quantity, and alot of pub talk goes on about how you need lots of it for torque etc. but back pressure doesnt neccesarily mean resistance to flow. as tunned lengths with the right radii bends will make more power than a pure straight pipe.
anyhow, it...
no idea about bulbs tomorrow, but each countru has its max wattage ratings allowed for dipped and main beams, so chack before you buy or its a hefty fine....i have never looked at the bulbs in the 172, but they aint H4 as they are xenon.

there is currently alot of idead circulating on how to get the msot flow with least trouble......and i have come up with 2 ideas which i am actualyl trying to check patents on at the mo. Lets just say that neither involves a throttle as a butterfly or a roller barrel, and the valve train is...
nah, you wont notice any diff...........
only rael use is in racing consitions where large amount of oil can exit via the com cover and you dont want that in your engine, but under normal rd conditions and rd tyres, cornering forces are not usually high enough.
oh, tony.........
as always, your moolah....but if you do buy, and they go under, where do you get service and spare parts? its gonna be expensive, of course i can help being in teh UK and stuff.......but a thai made zafira.......ho hum, dunno if they will be the same as the zafira in the UK...
and i can do drink at teh HKCC haha!
anyway, the lights on the 172 are xenon, or is yours the MK1?
if so, i thought high voltage PIAA bulbs were illegal........best check with the DVLA or similar first.
The Cup exahust, is just another thing to add really........and it all comes down to...
