cant beat nakamichi for sound quality, but you wont get many features. they used to make the worlds very best cassette decks, still cant beat them for sound quality, even the besr cd players dont sound as good as them imho.
no offence intended to paul, but a custom remap would be better for what you have done, as the chips paul sells are designed with standar engines in mind, where as soething along the lines of an smt6/7 would take into account the modifications you have done already and can be updated to take...
sealed subs with 'clever' internals are the best subs in the world, as i said, under 500quid the best homecinema sub is tiny at only 1ft cubed, but one that sticks on my mind measures just 39.2x42x43cm but ways 30kg, and costs around a grand
