you cant put N20 injectors on a fuel rail itll screw the fuelling completly!!!! ie. gas commin out an injector...and the fuel rail runs at about 850psi less than what N20 gas is supplied at.
You would need to drill into the manifold and tap in the N20 nozzles and fule nozzes if the original...
there UK spec cars.
RE this "I would drive the throttle body motor (a stepper I believe) from the pedal input.. the original ecu would think it had control over the throttle body motor, but it would be disconnected."
dont quite understand.....are we talking if we changed to a cable or...
if you absolutely jump on the brakes, your replying on the ABS to sort out the total loss of traction......dont brake so hard next time....feed i in, when you feel the ABS judder, let off a tiny bit, then balance it.
Downshift whilst you brake( i.e. brake @ 100mph in 4th, whe rpm reaches...
CHeers! got it...
emerald would not be ablt to work with fly by wire would it.
could you keep the original inlet mfold and adapt the map sensors etc? or would it still be easier to put the 172 throttle on the turbo plenum, maybe the MK1 cable throttle would be the easiest solution.

Mate my email just bust, lucky i copied it.......
reply to you:
"Hello mate,
he is very interested, but his only concern is the ECU. Since its running fly by wire, what ecus could you use? of could you convert it to a mechanical throttle with a potensiometer. Some pics of the ECU and...

theyre basically exactly the same, but the bore might be different to where it joins the centre section. I think youll have no probs fitting a 16V unit.

If i were gonna change any valves, it would be the exhaust, as they experience some...
mine runs badly too, its just the injction system up teh creek...potentiometer, idle control motor, injector timing....i can actually watch my injector cough and splutter!
GR, i wouldnt mind some super legs.....not on me though, attatched to a set of super......uhhh mmmmm.
I think your cache was being weird sa i know the huge pics of the pug your talking about.
