I'd be going with Scone's suggestion. Generic maps never do much to the 172 that I've seen/heard of. At least with a live map it's tailored to the characteristics of the car.

Are you on crack? 25 and 27 MPG? 800 of those miles were motorway? My 172 would have easily done 43 MPG with that amount of motorway miles in there. (Same weight, power, "quality" of car)

Mini DP to HDMI is the best thing ever. Migrating to mac SHOULD be easy, back up iPhone to itunes (PC) then migrate the itunes folder using an external hard drive you can then copy that onto the mac if you want. Then ask iTunes to find that folder as your itunes folder.
