No that's all good Jon, I think the main reason for my technique is because I've generally only painted up wheels/grab handles etc. so my finish has never needed to be utterly AMAZING.
The 30 minute thing makes perfect sense, but seriously, look at different lacquer.
You say it can't be that...
Hi.
I'd actually listen to the above TBH, but I will offer other advice.
If you're worried enough to worry about times, get some decent lacquer.
From what I've seen, flatting back the final coat with some proper fine paper then lacquering leaves AWESOME results, I've never perscribed to the...
I'd be going with Scone's suggestion.
Generic maps never do much to the 172 that I've seen/heard of. At least with a live map it's tailored to the characteristics of the car.
That mental Vish, I swapped the ph1 for a 320 and the price increase was £0.00, oh and a £25 admin fee.
So yeah, it cost me £25 to put the bimmer on their insurance.
I don't even own one any more, so I've got no reason to stick up for it, but I'd comfortably get 400 miles from a tank except when commuting in REALLY heavy traffic.
Are you on crack?
25 and 27 MPG?
800 of those miles were motorway?
My 172 would have easily done 43 MPG with that amount of motorway miles in there. (Same weight, power, "quality" of car)
I am 90% sure you're making this too difficult. Go to a breakers, cut off all of the headlight connections for a mk2 ph2 (non sport should work I believe).
The ph1 sport has the following bulbs in the "light unit"
Side light
Dipped beam
Main beam
Indicator
The ph2 light has EXACTLY the same...
Oh J dizzle.....
The computer versions will run everything, so no issues there.
As far as I'm aware there's an app now so that you can download the 4od videos etc to your mobile device too.
The 27 screen is excellent, we have two in this house and I have the 13" MBP.
I've had the 13" for a...
If I were going to sell that, I'd clean it, remove the stickers, take it to a decent car park and take some normal photos.
It'll sell for more and quicker!
Oh and remove the over spray onto the drive shaft picture, it makes it look very "pikey" (I'm not saying it is, it looks like an awesome...
Re: Diagnosis before I burn the f*cker?
That's not a clicking I've ever heard before. Ever.
Interesting one. My advice, point one of the pro's this way, it sounds VERY distinctive.
New MBP's support sound, yours is newer, I've even had this confirmed by apple guys in store. Something-sa-is-no-rightsa (sorry star wars is on in the background)
Mini DP to HDMI is the best thing ever.
Migrating to mac SHOULD be easy, back up iPhone to itunes (PC) then migrate the itunes folder using an external hard drive you can then copy that onto the mac if you want. Then ask iTunes to find that folder as your itunes folder.
First off, do test.
Hold the button on the end of the wiper stalk and turn the ignition on, it'll do a load of crap.
Then reset the trip etc and then fill the car up.
If it doesn't sort it, back to birchdown.
So basically, you had an issue, they tried to resolve it, failed, so replaced everything for free... They then made another mistake, which they'll also rectify for free, and you're complaining?
If that was a sony/dell you'd have waited 10 hours on the phone to tech support, had to box up the...
Yes it has
You jinxed it.
Holy crap it's a christmas miracle.
This will stay open whilst there is an actual intelligent conversation going on, when it turns to sewage, it'll be locked up faster than Santa's sleigh when he's stopping in hackney.
Awesome. Can't believe I hadn't seen this.
Love the old school look and feel of it, the seats look brilliant, shame to change them. I actually like the headunit too. :o
I was thinking of buying myself one of these as a weekend toy when I get a more expensive main car sorted. If they can be had...
