It's not the cut off switch under the bonnet is it? i.e the one that triggers when crashed? Bit red button. Give it a good hard push, see if it makes a difference.

Summary, check fuses under bonnet, if it's not that, check resistor pack by doing the test hodgins mentions, if it's that, get it repaired/replaced. Sorted.
