It was out on the track and passed every single car on it's session with ease actually.
There is no showdown needed between the ECU's. I drove the car there and it was just like OE but faster, fuel efficient and very very fast.
As i said before, our car is running a bigger charger AND...
Well the 182 starts and runs on the stock ecu with bodies, this DOES NOT mean it's possible but thought i'd have a go as i have a plug and play ecu which is easy enough to swap between stock and aftermarket :)
With the map sensor connected thus reading atmospheric AKA WOT or near enough the...
The bodies are coming this week but the sticking point is the DBW motor is not ready yet. I'll convert to cable for the purpose of this test but i would like to think it's possible.
It's got no titanium because right at this very moment my car is having a manifold designed for a new turbo :D
P.S. thanks for the comments and Waitey the pics are awesome!
So no need for the comments when quoting my customers!
Anyway, last conversation we had was that you were getting the charger and everything else locally?
You are trying to link two companies together, i am pointing out the fact that it's not the same project, it's using the same bracket.
Not sure where you want this to go really, i have take no money from you so your comments are out of order. Take your problem up with the company direct and...
Peter, i really have no clue what you are getting at (with me anyway) because the only dealings we have had are a few phone calls for updates on our car. Can't see why "you'll keep the peach until the end of June" As said before, this has nothing to do with us so i would appreciate it if you...
Of course it is relevant, different company. Also i didnt realise you have paid anything. Then again i wouldnt because it's nothing to do with me.
Ask yourself who did the pipe run, who did the oil cooler, who fitted the kit and who mapped it.
No, what they are tring to say is this:
"Sorry sir, we don't know how to map your stock ECU so we are telling you this addon is the best thing since slice bread"
LOL
500 miles or so. Then it will go through it's paces. New injectors are ready to go in too, the megane rs ones won't be good enough for the power this will produce!
Not on the fresh build i'm afriad, not goin anywhere near the dyno yet. It needs a good drive (not thrashing) to bed the rings in and the bottom end is also reground so that will need a few steady miles.
Engine is now back in the car, just a little more plumbing and it will be running (tomorrow AM i hope!)
Run in and map. Fingers crossed for some nice numbers :D
