On the black country route - red 197 with a black stripe
Then in Penn, wolverhampton a nicely standard silver 172 in front of me that turned into a driveway
Both around 5.30pm
I hover between 28-31mpg but I sit in traffic a hell of a lot. Think my average speed according to the trip for the work commute is something like 12 mph
How much do you want to get it down to and spend doing it? Basic lightening costs nothing until you reach a point. Think plexiglass windows, no dash, one seat lightweight seat, CF or Fibreglass bonnets/doors/tailgates I guess
On the drive home from work so around 5pm ish
Red 197 on the black country route going towards J10
LY ph2 V6 in traffic at J10
Titanium 182 parked on a driveway in parkfields

Saw an artic 182 on the black country route about 6pm
Silver ph1 leaving longford in cannock about 6.30pm
Black 172 back in wolves on the stafford road, oxley pulling in outside a house, 7.45pm
I had a similar issue but not as severe, was only getting 24/25mpg using Vpower which is usually very good for me. Changed the front lambda and its up in the low 30s now even with a spirited drive here and there
Bought some of these
Fitted them to the mounts after some fettling
Should hopefully make the exhaust look a little less like its drunk and last a bit longer - the standard ones had given up and the rubber spans had mostly snapped.
Also changed the front lambda sensor as I was only...
