Mine does this too but it still does get to temp if I sit for long enough in traffic. Plus dont forget its cold now so its going to have an effect. Im due a coolant change soon anyway so I'll change it then, but I can still rev to 7250 when its warm

Silver 02 plate 172 with 182 cup wheels parked up in fareham crescent wolverhampton. Then a blue replica on 182 cup wheels again in the bridgnorth road Shell station. Was with a corsa C who couldnt get it started!

As above the battery is held on by a bracket that attached to the gearbox mount. I suspect the bar you mean is the ECU support bracket which runs from the ecu down to the slam panel

Old gearbox mount was shagged as can be seen here, so I changed it. Kept dropping the bloody bolts from the mount itself, can be a pig if they drop down onto the subframe! Should be captive nuts but anyway its done now. Old shagged one on the left:

All changed old one was fecked. Did the saxo one for good measure too, two birds one stone or rather one trip to the motorfactors

Gonna go pick one up tonight then probably swap tonight or tuesday. Isn't there a bolt on the underside of the mount that can come undone and cause issues too? I've never looked

Well i'm pretty sure it isnt the ball joint, giving it a good shake and wiggle when jacked up I get no play in it. Did you sort of feel the odd clunk through the pedal when braking every so often? Theres not a lot of movement when rocking the engine back and forth by hand mind you.
