My best ever street race (the only time i really tried hard, as being a race driver, i kow how dangerous it canbe if you loose it on the road, no nice long gravel to piss off into) was witha MK1 MR2, the one with the 4AG-ZE (supercharged) engine....
we were hurtling along at about 125-130...
will post the results tomorrow.
i personally cant tell when the vvt kick in, its more like the cam comming on.
oh well, no doubt well be dissapointed. I could have a look at it with the special renault diagnostic equipment we have here? anything cool you would like me to check?

As for the fuel pressure test, ill have to see if GTi engineering have a fuel pressure guage to test it. And do you mean hook it up to the fuel entry pipe on the fuel rail?
Also, 5% what? What is the %tage of? and is it 5% @ full...

surely the increase in overlap at high rpm as better than keeping the timing the same all throughout.
i will try tomorrow, but its 11 now, so i have to wait.....plus im on the dyno tomorrow so ill have a go and report back, before and after the new viper kit is...

You can chaneg it to anything, but can you be arsed!
the 16V motor will be pain to squeese in. The GTT engine will fit, waith some work and hassle and 3000 quid, the RSi motor will go in, but it only makes 90 something BHP so its not worth the money.
You can get your motor to over 100bhp...

diffuserm you lookin for an actual aerodynamic aid or a styling bit?
cause none of the diffusers i have seen are any use aerodynamically and dont look too good either.

previouse cars had a modified airbox. Basically, it was just given a new cold air pipe of the sheilded variety to behind the headlight. used a performance filter, dont think it was green though. If you can, try get an itg filter as they look wicked an lots of race teams use them, they do...
